BAS aims to be the leading international Business Architecture organization for practitioners and our partners that advances our profession through education, information sharing, skill-building, and improved methods and practices.

Our History

Andrew Guitarte founded the Business Architecture Society as a non-profit association on October 2008 in San Francisco, CA. He continues to work as a Business Architect in a Fortune 50 company. This grassroots campaign to support fellow Business Architects and our partners drives our organization. "Business Architects for Business Architects" is our mantra for future growth and expansion.
